Conference Presentations
The opportunity to meet with clients and like minded professionals at technical conferences is a how we continue to learn and expand our skills and services. The following are some of the papers that we have presented at recent conferences. A brief excerpt of the conference abstract is presented, but please click through to our online version of the presentation, with many embedded animations!
2019-Present
Recent papers presented in Washington State, Colorado have focused on water banking and mining applications.
2017-2018
In 2017 and 2018 we presented a number of papers on the strategies and processes of integrated model development. These highlighted the many benefits of an integrated approach. Presentations covering practical applications in oil sands mining, thermal impact of below water table extraction, and water budget analysis are also included.
2015-2016
Our 2015-2016 presentations include insights from the simulation of a large land development in central Florida, a number of presentations on drought and climate change impact assessment, and a technical paper on integrated model calibration.
2013-2014
Our presentations from 2013-2014 include topics on the analysis of Low Impact Development (LID), identification of ecologically significant groundwater recharge areas (ESGRA), and the subtle aspects of the simulation of groundwater interactions with streams, shallow wetlands and lakes.
2010-2012
Our 2012 and earlier talks include results from a large study of the Oak Ridges Moraine, an evaluation of factors that influence groundwater recharge, and some practical applications of the USGS GSFLOW integrated model.
