Document Management - Document Associations

1.        Associate Many Documents To Many Locations, Intervals, or Documents

·         Select some documents by highlighting them in the document list.

·         Press Associate button to show the Location Explorer form.

·         Highlight some locations in the location list (or intervals in the interval list). Please note that documents themselves are a special type of locations and can be selected as well.

·         Click Select button on the bottom right corner of the Location Explorer form to link the selected locations to the documents. Close the Location Explorer form after the selection.

·         Click on Save button to save the new association information.

2.        Add Associations to One Document

·         Select one document by highlighting it in the document list.

·         If the document is not in editable mode, press Edit button to make it editable.

·         Press Associations tab to show the existing associations.

·         Press Add Associations button to show the Location Explorer form.

·         Highlight some locations (or documents) in the location list.

·         Click Select button on the bottom right corner of the Location Explorer form to link the selected locations to the documents.

·         Close the Location Explorer form after the selection.

·         Click on Save button to save the new association information.

·         Click on Cancel button to quit the editable mode.

3.        Delete Associations from Documents

·         Select one or more documents by highlighting them in the document list.

·         Press Edit button if Delete Associations button is not activated.

·         Press Associations tab to show the existing associations.

·         Select associations that the user wants to delete from the list by highlighting them.

·         Click on Delete Associations button.

·         Choose Yes to confirm or No not to delete.

·         Press Save button to save the new changes.

·         Click on Cancel button to quit the editable mode.

Document Management - Document Locations

1.        Click on one document in the document list to select it.

2.        Press Edit button if the document is not in editable mode.

3.        Press Location tab to see the location properties.

4.        If you want to get location coordinates from ViewLog (another software developed at EarthFX), then check Track location in VIEWLOG.

5.        If the coordinates come from ViewLog, then press Copy VIEWLOG Coords to Document Coords.

6.        If the coordinates do not come from ViewLog, enter the coordinates as Easting and Northing values.

7.        Press Click to locate in Google Map button to view its location.

8.        Press Save button to save the coordinate data.
